Disability and Accessibility
Are you disabled and looking to take a training course to develop your skills? At Oo2 Formations, we pay particular attention to the inclusivity and accessibility of our training programmes for people with disabilities. This dedicated page will provide you with the information you need to actively participate in our training courses.
Please note: Regardless of the nature of your disability, we recommend that you notify us in advance of your training so that we can organise your participation in the best possible conditions and ensure that the resources used for the training can be adapted to your specific needs.
Our Commitment to Accessibility
At Oo2 Formations, we recognize the importance of ensuring equitable access to education for everyone, regardless of their disability status. We have implemented protocols and resources to address the specific needs of learners concerned.
Individual Adaptations
We understand that each learner has unique needs. Therefore, we work closely with individuals with disabilities to establish individual adaptations, thereby promoting an effective and respectful learning experience that embraces diversity.
Oo2 Formations also works directly with AGEFIPH and a wide network of partners (see below) to collaboratively define tailor-made solutions for training accessibility.
How Does My Training Proceed?
1. Identification and Evaluation of Individual Needs
Oo2 Formations asks the candidate to declare their specific needs related to disabilities at the time of registration for training.
Our disability advisor then individually contacts the trainee with disabilities to assess their specific needs in order to determine the necessary accommodations. This may include needs such as special accommodations, adapted equipment, or specific arrangements.
2. Implementation of Specific Accommodations
Based on the identified needs, Oo2 Formations establishes specific accommodations such as accessible facilities, adapted materials, extended exam durations, or other adjustments in compliance with legal requirements.
3. Raising Awareness Among Oo2 Formations Staff
Oo2 Formations raises its staff's awareness of the specific needs of candidates with disabilities, ensures they understand the assistance procedures, and are prepared to meet the candidates' needs.
4. Personalized Welcome on Day 1 of Training
Oo2 Formations provides a personalized welcome to candidates with disabilities on the first day of training, offering clear information on accessible facilities and ensuring they feel comfortable and supported.
5. Continuous Assistance
Throughout the training, our disability advisor remains available to the candidate. They monitor the candidate's progress and act as a liaison between the trainer and the various administrative departments of Oo2 Formations throughout the session.
If the training is certification-based, with an examination, Oo2 Formations informs the certifying body so that measures to allow the candidate to request assistance or additional adjustments during the exam can be taken, if necessary.
6. Post-Examination Feedback
After the examination, Oo2 Formations collects feedback from candidates with disabilities about their experience. This helps identify potential areas for improvement in future examination sessions.
