Presentation
Team performance depends on the quality of interactions. Misunderstandings and tension often arise from limited awareness of behavioural styles. The DISC method is a powerful tool for understanding the psychological needs associated with dominance, influence, steadiness and compliance, and adapting your approach.
This 2-day course offers a pragmatic way to develop interpersonal intelligence. You will learn to identify your own leadership profile, understand those of your colleagues and adapt your communication to motivate, delegate or address performance concerns appropriately.
The aim is to move from intuitive management to agile, individualised management. You will leave with practical ways to streamline communication, prevent conflict and strengthen team cohesion by valuing different profiles.
Objectives
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- identify your own DISC behavioural profile, including strengths, limitations and drivers, to manage your impact on others;
- recognise verbal and non-verbal cues to identify the profiles of colleagues, peers and managers;
- adapt your communication and leadership style, whether directive, persuasive, participative or delegating, to each profile's needs;
- manage tension and misunderstandings by adjusting your approach and arguments;
- use DISC as a management and team cohesion tool;
- develop a personal action plan to embed these interpersonal habits in everyday management.
