Presentation
CompTIA PenTest+ is a certification for cybersecurity specialists responsible for penetration testing and vulnerability management. Whether you are a penetration tester, cybersecurity analyst or operator, it demonstrates knowledge beyond entry level and equips you to add value to a penetration testing team.
This program teaches penetration testing methodologies and fundamentals. You will cover vulnerability management and conduct a penetration test to apply the theory. Finally, you will address test report preparation and post-report activities.
By the end of this 5-day course, you will also be prepared for the CompTIA PT0-003 exam, included in our offer. This exam enables you to earn CompTIA PenTest+ certification (see the Certification tab for details).
Objectives
By the end of this CompTIA PenTest+ course, you will be able to:
- understand the need for planning and the main benefits of compliance testing;
- collect data for exploitation and conduct vulnerability assessments to analyse results;
- exploit vulnerabilities in wired and wireless networks, software, applications and radio-frequency systems;
- exploit vulnerabilities specific to cloud environments and APIs;
- summarise physical security attacks and use post-exploitation techniques;
- collect data using various tools and analyse results with basic Bash, Python, Ruby or PowerShell scripts;
- identify modern AI-based attack vectors;
