- Data security engineering and applied cryptography: PKI and encryption.

Day 4: Operating monitoring and incident response (SecOps)
- Continuous monitoring and threat detection.
- Security incident analysis and response.
- Using automation and orchestration (SOAR).

Day 5: Practising and preparing for CompTIA SecurityX certification
- Intensive review of the 4 key CAS-005 exam domains.
- Practice with a Performance-Based Questions (PBQ) simulation exercise.
- Taking a mock exam under realistic conditions, with corrections and deeper exploration of complex concepts.
- Optimising time management for the 165-minute exam with instructor guidance.

Prerequisites
The following prerequisites apply:
- Experience: CompTIA recommends at least 10 years of general IT administration experience, including at least 5 years of extensive hands-on security experience.

- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CySA+, PenTest+ or equivalent certifications are strongly recommended.
