Presentation
Microsoft Azure is a leading cloud environment for businesses designing, deploying and administering IT infrastructure. As hybrid and multi-cloud architectures become increasingly complex, organisations need professionals who can translate business requirements into secure, resilient and cost-optimised Azure solutions.
This 4-day course covers the 4 official AZ-305 exam domains: designing identity solutions, governance and monitoring, designing data storage solutions, designing business continuity solutions and designing infrastructure solutions. Each module combines methodology with realistic scenarios to embed skills in practical architecture contexts.
By the end of the programme, you will be able to design complex Azure cloud infrastructure solutions and be prepared to take the official AZ-305 exam to obtain Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification. Listed in the French Répertoire Spécifique, this course is also eligible for CPF funding (see the Certification tab for details).
Objectives
By the end of this Microsoft Azure AZ-305 course, you will be able to:
- design identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID, privileged access management and authentication strategies;
- develop Azure governance solutions, including policies, management groups, RBAC and cost management;
- design monitoring and logging solutions with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Microsoft Sentinel;
- design storage solutions for structured and unstructured data using Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB and Azure Data Lake;
- ensure business continuity and disaster recovery with Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery and high availability strategies;
- design secure, scalable and high-performance compute, networking, migration and application architecture solutions;
- prepare for and pass AZ-305 to obtain Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
Program

- Designing resilient architectures with availability zones, availability sets and paired Azure regions.
- Azure SQL high availability options: zone redundancy, auto-failover groups and geo-replication.
- Implementing Traffic Manager and Azure Front Door for application continuity.
Labs
- Design and configure a business continuity and disaster recovery plan on Azure.
Module 4: designing infrastructure solutions
- Selecting appropriate compute resources: virtual machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Apps, Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
- Designing serverless and containerised architectures to optimise performance and costs.
- Designing asynchronous communication solutions with Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid and Azure Queue Storage.
