HTML (HyperText Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) are 2 fundamental languages approved by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). HTML5 structures web page content, while CSS version 3 controls its visual presentation. This 4-day course develops the essential skills needed to create modern web pages.
The course starts with the languages and tools used to create web content, then covers HTML5 fundamentals, including tags and attributes. You will learn to add text, lists, hyperlinks, images and more before styling this content with CSS3. You will explore styling properties for text elements and sections, web page structure including sections, headers, footers and menus, and methods for positioning these elements.
You will then move on to audio and video integration and creating HTML5 tables and forms. Finally, you will learn to adapt pages to different screens through responsive web design.
