Presentation
Increasing cyberthreats require SOC teams to maintain centralised visibility across security logs. Faced with growing alert volumes, you need to aggregate and analyse network traffic to anticipate incidents and strengthen your defensive posture.
This pathway develops your expertise in administering FortiAnalyzer 7.6 to make full use of its log aggregation and correlation capabilities. You will configure administrative domains (ADOMs), deploy high-availability architectures and refine retention strategies to protect critical data.
The course also prepares you for the Fortinet NSE 6 FortiAnalyzer Administrator examination included in our offer, announced for early October 2026. It is a key step towards NSE 6 Network Security Specialist certification, provided you already hold NSE 4 certification (see the Certification tab for details).
Objectives
By the end of this FortiAnalyzer Administrator course, you will be able to:
- master the architecture, operating modes and log workflow within the FortiAnalyzer fabric;
- configure network settings, secure administrative access, two-factor authentication (2FA) and administrative event monitoring;
- orchestrate administrative domain (ADOM) creation and management, and high availability (HA);
- register devices, configure fabric connectors and monitor disk usage;
- manage log redundancy, encryption and retention policies;
- design and generate advanced security reports from logged data;
- perform system maintenance, backups and firmware upgrades;
- prepare for the Fortinet NSE 6 — FortiAnalyzer Administrator examination to meet the core requirement for NSE 6 — Network Security Specialist certification.

Module 1: Master the fundamentals and initial configuration
- Explore FortiAnalyzer's purpose and operating modes.
- Configure network settings and secure administrative access with 2FA.
- Understand logging within Fortinet Security Fabric.
