Presentation
Recommended by leading construction companies, TILOS is linear planning and coordination software. It helps engineers, project managers, construction managers and project owners manage linear infrastructure projects more easily. Used worldwide for heavy civil engineering, railways, pipelines, bridges, power lines and tunnels, TILOS has been a trusted solution since 1999.
This 2-day TILOS course teaches you to plan and manage linear projects with TILOS (Time Location Scheduling) version 11. You will explore time–location schedules and how to use Gantt charts, starting with the TILOS interface to establish the fundamentals.
The terminology and methods covered reflect modern approaches to linear project planning, developed by engineers and professionals working on roads, bridges, railways and underground transport networks. Every module includes practical exercises that you can apply immediately in your organisation to create linear schedules.
Objectives
By the end of this introductory TILOS course, you will be able to:
- Understand linear scheduling principles for project management.
- Create a time–location schedule with its logical structure and calculation methods for activities, relationships, tasks and results.
- Create a project library covering activity types, schedules, resources and budgets.
- Use Gantt charts and time–location schedules together.
- Process data from Excel files.
- Produce clear, consistent schedules and reports.
- Create linear schedules from start to finish with TILOS.
