Presentation
An incident or disaster can severely disrupt a business or organisation. Organisations therefore need prevention plans and a business continuity policy to respond effectively to crises. ISO 22301 was developed and published to provide strategies for protection against disruptive incidents and for maintaining operations when they occur.
This course teaches the fundamentals of understanding and managing a business continuity management system (BCMS) under ISO 22301:2019. It covers the core concepts of BCMS operation, including policies, procedures, performance measurement, internal audits, continual improvement and other considerations.
At the end of the programme, you will take the PECB ISO 22301 Foundation certification examination. This certification demonstrates your knowledge of business continuity management foundations and requirements under the international standard ISO 22301:2019.
Objectives
By the end of the ISO 22301 Foundation course, you will be able to:
- understand the principles and operational processes of a BCMS;
- apply ISO 22301:2019 and other regulations;
