Presentation
Social responsibility is the principle by which companies and organisations commit to responsible behaviour in their actions and policies, with the aim of supporting sustainable and ethical development. It covers many areas: human rights, the environment, working conditions and management transparency.
Published in 2010, ISO 26000 establishes the principles and guidelines of social responsibility, together with a method for applying them in any type of organisation, including companies, NGOs, local authorities and trade unions. It is a reference standard for anyone wishing to implement a CSR strategy within their organisation.
This course helps you master the fundamentals of social responsibility and apply them within your organisation. It also prepares you for the ISO 26000 Foundation exam taken at the end of the course, with a view to becoming PECB Certified ISO 26000 Foundation.
