Following the publication of ISO 37301, organisations are recruiting qualified, experienced internal and external auditors to audit their compliance management systems (CMS). These auditors assess the conformity of organisational policies, procedures and controls against ISO 37301:2021 guidelines.
This 5-day course helps you carry out these assignments and understand the importance of high-quality CMS audits. The PECB Lead Auditor programme develops your knowledge and skills in planning and conducting CMS audits. It draws on ISO 19011:2018 requirements and recommendations for management system audits, together with the certification process defined in ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015.
At the end of the programme, you will be ready to take the PECB examination assessing your learning and abilities. After passing, you will be eligible for the PECB Certified ISO 37301 Lead Auditor credential. This internationally recognised certification confirms that you have the knowledge and skills to audit a CMS based on ISO 37301:2021.
Objectives

- Introduction to the international standard ISO 37301:2021.
Day 2
First half-day
- Introduction to fundamental internal and external audit principles under ISO 37301:2021.
Second half-day
- Introduction to preparing and initiating an audit under ISO 37301:2021.
Day 3
- Detailed review of on-site audit activities under ISO 19011:2018.
Day 4
First half-day
- Preparing for the audit closing meeting.
Second half-day
- Closing the audit and delivering the final report under ISO 37301:2021.
Day 5
First half-day
- Open, interactive discussion between participants and the trainer, including questions, answers and advice.
Second half-day
- PECB Certified ISO 37301 Lead Auditor examination (duration: 3 hours).
