Certification
The PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27034 Lead Implementer exam meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Programme. It covers the following competency domains:
- application security fundamentals;
- application security controls and other application security practices;
- planning the implementation of an application security project under ISO/IEC 27034:2011;
- implementing an application security project compliant with ISO/IEC 27034:2011;
- evaluating performance, monitoring and measuring an application security project under ISO/IEC 27034:2011;
- continual improvement of an application security project compliant with ISO/IEC 27034:2011;
- preparing an application security audit.
After passing the exam and meeting the applicable requirements, you may apply for one of the following credentials:
- Certified ISO/IEC 27034 Provisional Implementer: no experience required; sign the PECB Code of Ethics.
- Certified ISO/IEC 27034 Implementer: 2 years of professional experience, including 1 in application security; 200 hours of project activities; sign the PECB Code of Ethics.
- Certified ISO/IEC 27034 Lead Implementer: 5 years of professional experience, including 2 in application security; 300 hours of project activities; sign the PECB Code of Ethics.
