Presentation
Faced with growing threats such as health crises, geopolitical tensions and supply disruptions, risk management is no longer optional: it underpins sustainable business performance. This 3-day supply chain course provides a comprehensive method for identifying, analysing and controlling vulnerabilities throughout your supply chain.
The programme provides strategic and operational tools you can apply immediately. You will learn to use advanced analysis methods such as supply chain FMECA, map critical dependencies and incorporate key frameworks such as ISO 28000 and ISO 31000.
Through practical case studies of recent disruptions, including the semiconductor crisis and geopolitical events, you will learn to build robust supply chain Business Continuity Plans (BCPs). You will leave with multi-sourcing strategies and indicators that help turn your supply chain into a proactive, agile competitive advantage.
Objectives
By the end of this supply chain risk management course, you will be able to:
- identify and map strategic, operational, geopolitical and other risks, and vulnerabilities across all supply chain flows;
- apply and master relevant risk analysis and assessment methods, such as Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and criticality matrices;
- develop and structure prevention, mitigation and continuity plans to respond effectively to disruptions and extreme scenarios;
- deploy a proactive management strategy, establish resilience and performance KPIs, and develop agile multi-sourcing solutions;
- maintain operational continuity and formalise a supply chain-specific Business Continuity Plan (BCP) aligned with ISO 28000:2022 and ISO 22301:2019.
