Presentation
Organisations migrating to Azure need administrators who can manage complex cloud environments: identities, governance, storage, virtual machines, virtual networks and monitoring. Microsoft Azure is now one of the most widely deployed enterprise cloud platforms, and Azure Administrator Associate is one of the most sought-after certifications in the IT market.
This 4-day course covers the 5 official Microsoft syllabus domains: managing identities and governance with Microsoft Entra ID, storage, compute and virtual networks, and monitoring Azure resources. Each module combines methodological guidance with official Microsoft labs in real Azure environments.
By the end of the course, you will be able to administer an enterprise Azure environment comprehensively and be ready to take the official AZ-104 exam, included in our offer. Passing it leads to Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification (see the Certification tab for details).
Objectives
By the end of this Azure Administrator Associate course, you will be able to:
- manage Azure subscriptions, resources and governance with Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC and Azure Policy;
- implement and manage Azure storage: storage accounts, blobs, file shares and redundancy options;
- deploy and administer virtual machines, containers and Azure compute solutions;
- configure and manage Azure virtual networks: VNets, subnets, NSGs, VPN Gateway and Azure DNS;
- monitor resources with Azure Monitor and back them up with Azure Backup;
- implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions using availability zones and Azure Site Recovery;
- prepare for and pass AZ-104 to earn Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification.

Module 1: manage Azure identities and governance
- Managing Microsoft Entra ID objects: creating and managing users, groups and guest accounts.
- Configuring Microsoft Entra join and self-service password reset (SSPR).
- Managing role-based access control (RBAC): creating custom roles and managing access assignments.

Prerequisites
The following prerequisites apply:
- Technical skills: experience in systems and network administration, including virtualisation, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs and firewalls.
- Theoretical foundations: a sound understanding of Azure cloud fundamentals, ideally demonstrated by AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals certification or equivalent experience.
- Professional experience: hands-on experience with Azure PowerShell or Azure CLI and knowledge of Active Directory concepts, including users, groups and RBAC.
