Presentation
In modern application development, hosting decisions arise early: whether to host on premises or in the cloud, how to migrate existing applications to a new system, how to use and secure data, and which new development requirements to consider. With Azure, Microsoft offers solutions that help developers and designers make this transition as straightforward as possible.
This Microsoft course is for developers seeking to create end-to-end solutions in Azure. You will learn to create functions and implement and manage web applications. You will also design solutions that require Azure storage, implement authentication and permissions, and secure solutions using the managed identities platform. Finally, you will learn to connect to Azure and third-party services and incorporate event- and message-based models into your solutions. Monitoring, troubleshooting and optimising Azure solutions are also covered.
After these 5 days of training, including practical exercises, you will be prepared to take the AZ-204 exam. This initial level of expertise in application development within Microsoft Azure demonstrates your theoretical and practical skills in designing and developing cloud solutions. It also enables you to earn the Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate credential (see the Certification tab for details).
Objectives
By the end of the Microsoft Azure AZ-204 course, you will be able to:
- design and develop application solutions for Azure;
- design and develop storage solutions for Azure;
- configure Azure security services;
- monitor, troubleshoot and optimise Azure solutions;
- connect to and use Azure and third-party services;
- prepare thoroughly for the AZ-204 Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure exam.
