Presentation
The PHP programming language is essential on today's web. Versatile and accessible, this open-source scripting language is a reference for web development professionals, particularly for creating professional dynamic websites. PHP can also adapt pages more effectively to browsers and facilitates access to database management software, particularly MySQL.
This 4-day course is open to anyone aiming to learn PHP programming and create a dynamic website from scratch: pages generated automatically in response to user requests.
The lessons begin with an in-depth exploration of PHP operation, its characteristics and versions (PHP5, PHP6, PHP7, PHP8 and others), followed by syntax and task automation. You will then create forms and arrays and explore PHP variables and functions. Finally, you will cover MySQL databases, dynamic image creation and object-oriented programming.
Objectives
By the end of the Learn PHP 8 Programming and Build a Dynamic Website course, you will be able to:
- master PHP syntax rules and apply associated good practices;
- modify an existing HTML page by integrating PHP code;
- use the $_SESSION variable and setcookie() function to store information;
- communicate with a MySQL database using PHP;
- manage form data using PHP scripts;
- create dynamic charts and images;
- develop and secure PHP web applications;
- write readable, structured code;
- understand PHP object-oriented programming (OOP) basics.
