Presentation
At the heart of large-scale Agile transformation, the Release Train Engineer (RTE) plays a crucial role as a facilitator, leader and coach for teams and stakeholders involved in software product development and delivery. Orchestrating Agile Release Trains (ARTs), the RTE ensures that teams work together, processes run smoothly and objectives are achieved with a consistent cadence and efficiency.
This SAFe RTE course helps you master Agile execution at scale. You will deepen your understanding of SAFe® and refine your ability to facilitate critical events such as PI Planning. As an RTE, you will also learn to coach leaders, teams and Scrum Masters to change their mindset and adopt Agile principles.
The program provides practical tools and strategies for today’s dynamic environment of remote work and distributed teams. This 3-day course also provides thorough preparation for the SAFe® Release Train Engineer certification examination (see the Certification tab for details).

- Identifying key roles.

4. Planning a Program Increment (PI)
- Preparatory activities for PI Planning.
- Facilitating and managing the 2-day PI Planning event.
- Finalising the plan and commitment.
- Facilitating PI Planning in distributed environments.
5. Monitoring PI execution
- Using events to keep the ART on track.
- Focusing on quality throughout the project.
