Presentation
Scaling agility requires close synchronisation across development teams. This SAFe for Teams version 6 course is specifically designed for delivery teams, developing the skills needed to contribute to a high-performing SAFe train.
During these 2 immersive days, you will learn to collaborate effectively with other teams using Scrum, Kanban and Extreme Programming (XP). You will write stories, break down features and execute iterations in cadence within Program Increments (PIs). You will also explore the continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps culture to continually improve the Agile Release Train (ART).
By the end, you will be prepared for the SAFe Practitioner (SP) 6.0 certification exam. This internationally recognised credential from Scaled Agile validates your ability to apply Lean-Agile thinking at scale within your organisation.
Objectives
By the end of this course, you will be able to fulfil the SAFe Practitioner (SP) role by:
- Applying Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) principles to adapt and scale Lean and Agile development practices across the enterprise.
- Identifying the structure of an Agile Release Train (ART).
- Understanding your team's role and managing dependencies with other teams.
- Planning and executing iterations with Scrum, Kanban and Extreme Programming (XP) to develop and demonstrate value continuously.
- Actively participating in PI (Program Increment) Planning and aligning team objectives with customer needs.
- Adopting DevOps culture and the continuous delivery pipeline for fast feedback and relentless train improvement.

- Relentless process improvement to optimise overall train performance.
Practical exercises
- Complete realistic simulations of story writing, iteration planning and PI Planning for immediate workplace application.

- Assess yourself under exam conditions with an official practice test and one year of access to SAFe Studio revision resources.
