Presentation
OpenStack brings together services for open development and the integration of applications or infrastructure in the cloud. This course covers the foundational knowledge needed to use OpenStack and builds practical skills through simulated exercises. You will learn to develop and integrate cloud-ready applications.
Objectives
This course provides the fundamental technical knowledge to develop cloud-ready applications and deploy them in an OpenStack hosting environment. The 4-day programme combines theory with practical simulation workshops in which participants develop a small application and deploy it on OpenStack. Participants take on development and integration roles.
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
- explore OpenStack features;
- master the API, command-line interface (CLI) and dashboard;
- design and implement a cloud application;
- manage resources in an OpenStack hosting environment;
- develop a cloud-ready application and implement it on OpenStack.
