Presentation

In professional settings, working at height on sites already equipped with safety systems requires specialist skills to ensure safety and control risks. This course is specifically designed for professionals who need to move around structures or equipment fitted with safety systems such as rails, lifelines, access platforms and anchors. It provides foundational skills and the right habits for moving safely in these complex, often technical environments.

This one-day course is structured around theoretical and practical modules. You will cover regulations and the physics of falls, access methods, and collective and personal protection, with a focus on selecting and checking fall-protection PPE. The practical module lets you put on equipment, use installed systems such as rails, anchors and lifelines, and work on specific structures such as access platforms and nacelle roofs. Evacuation and incident management simulations also help strengthen your responsiveness.

By the end of the course, you will be able to move independently and remain alert on equipped structures and respond appropriately to an emergency or evacuation situation. You will understand the fall-protection equipment installed on site, use fixed or mobile safety systems effectively and actively contribute to fall prevention and safety at height.

Objectives

By the end of this course on working at height on equipped sites, you will be able to:

  • identify fall-protection equipment and collective protection installed on a site;
  • master the use of fixed or mobile safety systems such as rails, lifelines and anchors;
  • move independently and remain alert on equipped structures such as access platforms or wind turbines;
  • implement the appropriate procedure in an emergency or evacuation situation.
