Certification PECB ISO standards

ISO PECB

ISO standards cover many aspects of organisational practice, including information security, quality, continuity and environmental management. Some contain requirements for management systems; others provide guidance and are not intended for management system certification.

Organisations and individual qualifications

Certification of an organisation’s management system is different from a professional qualification. A PECB course may prepare an individual to understand, implement or audit a system, depending on the selected pathway. Attending training does not certify the employer or guarantee regulatory compliance.

Choosing an OO2 pathway

The catalogue includes several PECB learning pathways. Compare the standard, level and professional responsibilities before selecting a course. Foundation, implementation and auditing routes have different objectives.

Check the course description for its prerequisites, assessment arrangements and what is included. The awarding body determines eligibility and certification requirements. No automatic award, universal on-site examination arrangement or guaranteed business result is implied.
