Certification PMI-CP™ : PMI Construction Professional
PMI-CP™ : PMI Construction Professional focuses on construction project management. This PMI pathway addresses work involving multiple stakeholders, contracts and delivery constraints. It connects project coordination with the realities of construction rather than treating the schedule as a document separate from the relationships and decisions that shape delivery.
Relevant preparation can examine responsibilities, change and the information needed to make a decision. Examples should consider the interfaces between design, execution and progress monitoring. Coordination across construction stakeholders provides a useful theme for analysing difficulties and preparing trade-offs. Before selecting training, check PMI's current requirements and how they relate to your experience. The credential does not replace technical or regulatory obligations for a particular project. Learning is most useful when participants can explain how communication and agreed responsibilities influence the course of an operation.
