Presentation
Enterprise IT governance encompasses the processes, policies and structures that direct and control the management and use of information systems. It establishes frameworks and procedures to align IT investments and resources with overall business strategy. ISACA developed CGEIT® (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT) certification to promote requirements for effective, context-appropriate IT management.
This course provides the knowledge and skills to prepare for and pass the CGEIT® exam. It covers 4 essential professional practice domains:
- IT governance: defining objectives, responsibilities and performance measures;
- IT resource management: managing budgets, teams, infrastructure and applications;
- benefits realisation: aligning IT investments with strategic objectives and value creation;
- risk optimisation: identifying, evaluating and mitigating information systems risks.
Through theoretical instruction, practical case studies and a mock exam, you will master key concepts and prepare thoroughly for CGEIT® certification requirements (see the certification tab for details).

Audience
This course is for:
- auditors, consultants, IT leaders and managers responsible for information security and IT systems management who want to obtain ISACA CGEIT® certification.
Prerequisites
The following prerequisites apply:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in an advisory or oversight role supporting governance of an enterprise's IT-related contribution.
- Technical English proficiency sufficient to understand technical documents and take the exam; CEFR level B1/B2 is recommended. The training is delivered in French.
