This CompTIA Linux+ course enables you to develop or demonstrate the skills required of a system administrator managing Linux servers end to end. You will learn command-line operation, user management, file and directory permissions, software configuration and security. You will also develop essential modern skills in containerisation (Docker, Podman) and automation (Ansible, Python and Bash scripting, Git).

Objectives

Module 1: Managing the Linux system
- Understand Linux development culture.

- Configure cloud computing and virtualisation services.
- Deploy and manage Linux packages and software (RPM/YUM, Debian/APT).

Module 3: Securing Linux

- Explore good practices for generative AI in Linux administration: code generation and prompt engineering.

Module 5: Diagnosing and troubleshooting
- Resolve access permissions, storage and software dependency issues.
- Resolve processor, memory and network issues.
