The ICT sector is expanding rapidly, with data centres at the heart of this growth. Demand for qualified professionals to manage these infrastructures is increasing. Meanwhile, new technical developments require professionals to update their knowledge and skills.
This foundation course provides the basic knowledge and skills needed to work in a data centre. It also offers existing data centre professionals an introduction before exploring specific areas in greater depth. You will become familiar with data centre design, operation, regulation and compliance.
By the end of this 2-day program, you will also be ready to take the Data Centre Foundation Certificate exam, organised online by our partner EPI, to earn DCFC® certification.

Taking the DCFC® exam
The exam lasts 60 minutes and takes place online. It includes 40 multiple-choice questions in English. To pass, you must answer at least 24 questions correctly. Your score is provided immediately, enabling you to obtain your Data Centre Foundation Certificate through your personal account.

This course is designed for:
- anyone wishing to explore and understand data centre operation;
- data centre employees such as new recruits, IT helpdesk staff, equipment technicians, maintenance staff and administrative personnel, including sales, HR and finance managers.
Prerequisites
The EPI Data Centre Foundation course requires:
- ability to read and understand English for the DCFC® exam.
