Presentation
The Universal Windows Platform (UWP) enables the development of applications for Windows devices, including computers, tablets, smartphones and others. This Microsoft certification course teaches you to develop applications using Visual Studio 2015 tools and make them accessible and efficient across Windows devices, particularly phones.
Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Use the VS2015 environment for UWP.
- Develop an application that respects UWP usability guidelines.
- Understand new UWP development features.
- Target the full family of devices supported by Windows 10.
- Explore XAML and its new features.
- Manage phone-specific features: touch, GPS, camera and accelerometer.
Follow-up: participants record their assessment of course delivery and results in a course evaluation completed at the end of training. This document is provided to the person commissioning the training, together with attendance sheets and an original training certificate.
