This course develops the expertise to support an organisation in implementing and managing a food safety management system (FSMS) based on ISO 22000. You will also receive in-depth training in food safety control best practices under ISO 22000.

The course follows project management practices established under ISO 10006 (Quality management systems — Guidelines for quality management in projects). It is also compatible with ISO/TS 22004 (Food safety management systems — Guidance on the application of ISO 22000) and ISO/TS 22002-1 (Prerequisite programmes on food safety — Part 1: Food manufacturing).

By the end of this intensive 4.5-day course, you will be able to:

  • understand the relationship between ISO 22000 and ISO 22002-1, and other standards and regulatory frameworks;
  • master the concepts, approaches, methods and techniques needed to implement and manage an effective FSMS;
