ISO/IEC 27002 is an international framework providing information security management best-practice guidance. These practices help organisations establish the highest possible reliability in inter-organisational activities. This requires appropriate measures, including policies, processes, organisational strategies, and software and hardware tools.
This ISO/IEC 27002 Lead Manager course develops the skills to support an organisation in implementing and managing information security controls according to ISO 27002:2013. During the course, you will deepen your information security best-practice knowledge to strengthen applicable organisational controls.
After gaining a thorough understanding of information security concepts, you will be ready to take the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27002 Lead Manager examination. Passing allows you to earn a PECB credential, such as PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27002 Provisional Manager, which requires no professional experience.
Objectives
By the end of ISO 27002 Lead Manager training, you will be able to:

- Pass the ISO 27002 Lead Manager examination and obtain an associated PECB Certified ISO 27002 Lead Manager credential.

Day 1
- Introduction to information security controls in accordance with ISO 27002.

- Defining information security requirements and objectives in accordance with ISO 27002.
Day 3
- Monitoring, measuring, analysing and evaluating information security activities.
Day 4
- Continually improving information security management system (ISMS) performance.
Day 5
- Take the ISO 27002 Lead Manager certification examination (duration: 3 hours).
