Microsoft Azure AI offers a range of artificial intelligence services. Designed for developers, AI engineers and data scientists, Azure enables teams to develop AI solutions quickly and efficiently at a lower cost.
This course introduces fundamental artificial intelligence concepts and how to implement AI solutions with Microsoft Foundry, Microsoft's unified AI development platform. You will develop your understanding of typical AI workloads, including generative and agentic AI, and deploy your first models and agents in Foundry. Practical exercises are based on official Microsoft Learn modules.
By the end of this introductory Azure AI course, you will also be prepared for the AI-901 exam, which leads to Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals certification (see the Certification tab for details).
Objectives
By the end of the Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals course, you will be able to:
- describe responsible AI principles: fairness, reliability, privacy, inclusiveness, transparency and accountability;
- identify AI model components and configurations, including generative AI models;
- understand how generative and agentic AI workloads operate;
- understand computer vision and text analysis workloads;
- deploy a generative or multimodal model in the Microsoft Foundry portal;
