Presentation
Organisations can often prevent a disaster by managing situations or minor incidents appropriately. They can also limit the impact of a crisis when it cannot be avoided. This requires prevention, preparation and response processes and methods: in other words, a crisis management system.
This 4.5-day PECB Lead Crisis Manager course develops your crisis management skills. You will learn to support an organisation in planning, implementing, maintaining and monitoring its strategic capability and continually improving it. Based on ISO 22361:2022 and crisis management best practices, the course explains the key concepts and processes for establishing and effectively applying a crisis management system (CMS).
At the end of the programme, you will take the PECB Lead Crisis Manager certification exam, included in our offer. It assesses your learning, and passing enables you to apply for a PECB credential, such as PECB Certified Provisional Crisis Manager, which requires no professional experience (see the Certification tab for details).
