Presentation
Scrum teams excel when the Scrum Master and Product Owner share the same vision. When trained separately, they often spend unnecessary energy coordinating their work. This unique 4-day session combines the two official Scrum.org curricula to create an aligned partnership capable of maximising delivered value from the first iteration.
The programme covers facilitation, team coaching, backlog management, ROI-based prioritisation and release planning. Using Training from the Back of the Room, you alternate between theory, games and Scrum simulations based on a real case, without PowerPoint. You experience the complementary nature of the roles and leave with tools you can immediately reuse.
By the end of this Scrum course, you will be ready to work on both fronts: servant leadership and product strategy. You can take the PSM I and PSPO I exams to earn two globally recognised professional certifications that can accelerate your career (see the Certification tab for details).

Module 2: adopt agile product management
- Moving from project management to product management.

- Defining value and measurement indicators (EBM).

Module 4: manage and refine the Product Backlog
- Techniques for creating and ordering Backlog items.
- Breaking down requirements and ongoing refinement.
Module 5: understand the underlying theory and principles
- Applying empiricism: transparency, inspection and adaptation.
- Embedding Scrum values in day-to-day work.
Module 6: master the Scrum framework
- A detailed review of Scrum roles, events and artefacts.
- Applying the rules to ensure the framework's effectiveness.
Module 7: manage releases
- Release planning and expectation management.
- Balancing date, scope and budget.
Module 8: ensure quality through Done and Not Done
- The Definition of Done and its impact on quality.
- Managing technical debt and unfinished work.
Module 9: develop people and teams
- Developing self-organisation and autonomy.
- Managing team dynamics and resolving conflict.
Module 10: master the Scrum Master role
- Servant leadership and coaching the team and organisation.
- Removing impediments and facilitating Scrum events.

Prerequisites
The following prerequisites apply:
- Professional experience: participation in a project or product development is strongly recommended to contextualise the learning.
- Basic knowledge:
- reading the Scrum Guide in advance is essential;
- some knowledge of project or product management is desirable;
- a reasonable level of English, preferably B1, is required because the certification exams are in English.
