Presentation
ISO 9001 is the first international standard dedicated to management systems. Its requirements primarily focus on the implementation, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a Quality Management System (QMS) within an organization. Based on seven quality management principles, ISO 9001:2015 aims to help companies improve efficiency and strengthen the level of service delivered to their customers.
This ISO 9001 Lead Auditor training equips you with the skills required to conduct audits of Quality Management Systems (QMS). Throughout the course, you will cover the fundamentals before moving on to planning and conducting audits in line with ISO 9001 requirements. Practical exercises will be included to explore auditing best practices, managing an audit program, leading an audit team, communicating with clients, and handling conflicts.
At the end of this program, you will be fully prepared to take the official ISO 9001 Lead Auditor exam. Successfully passing the exam allows you to earn one of the four PECB ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certifications. Becoming certified demonstrates that you possess the practical knowledge and technical skills required to carry out ISO 9001-compliant QMS audits within an organization.
Objectives
At the end of the ISO 9001 Lead Auditor training, you will be able to:
- Understand the basic principles of a QMS that meets ISO 9001 requirements;
- Describe the correlations between ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 9004:2018 standards, as well as other relevant regulations;
- Identify the key responsibilities of an auditor: planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up of a QMS audit according to ISO 9001;
- Conduct a quality audit and manage an audit team;
- Describe the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 within the framework of a QMS audit;
- Successfully pass the ISO 9001 Lead Auditor exam and obtain your PECB Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor credential.
