Pentaho Business Analytics is an open-source business intelligence software suite providing a comprehensive platform for data integration, analysis and visualisation. Pentaho offers powerful tools for data ETL, interactive reporting and multidimensional analysis and for designing dynamic dashboards, providing an end-to-end solution for business intelligence (BI) needs.
This Pentaho Business Analytics V10.x course develops comprehensive expertise in implementing BI solutions. You will learn to master data integration with PDI, apply ETL best practices and optimise performance. You will design effective reports with Report Designer, model multidimensional data with Mondrian and Saiku and perform ad hoc analysis with Metadata Editor. Finally, you will develop interactive, customised dashboards with CDE using web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Over five days, you will learn to use Pentaho independently to meet your organisation's BI needs. You will be able to manage the complete data life cycle, from integration to visualisation, and create solutions tailored to your business challenges.
Objectives

- Develop high-performance OLAP cubes with Mondrian using Schema Workbench and explore them interactively with Saiku Analytics for multidimensional analysis.
- Design, build and customise interactive dashboards with Community Dashboard Editor to monitor KPIs.
- Install, configure and administer Pentaho BI Server, managing users, roles, permissions, data sources, security and optimisation settings.

Module 1: Discovering Pentaho Business Analytics Server
- Introduction to business intelligence and key concepts (data warehouses, ETL, OLAP, etc.).
- Overview of Pentaho architecture and suite tools (PDI, Report Designer, Mondrian, Saiku, CDE, etc.).
