Presentation

This course provides a broad introduction to the subject. At the end of each topic, participants complete paper-based exercises that translate business situations into processes, models, BPM notation and interactions with enterprise information system components.

The course presents 3 BPM software products, Mega, Signavio and Bizagi, together with an Oracle BPM demonstration.

It concludes with the components of a methodology for implementing a BPM project.

  • discover BPM and its importance for businesses, including the role processes play in organisational success and how to model them, store them in a repository, implement them in a BPM tool and evolve them;
  • put BPM into perspective alongside technologies such as SOA and web services;
