Presentation
Digital transformation, paperless working, new communication habits shaped by social media and the need for businesses to become more outward-facing have profoundly changed people's behaviour and their relationships with companies and public authorities. These changes have created new expectations that organisations need to meet.
Businesses and organisations must therefore pursue digital transformation, using recent technologies to improve their relationships with customers and service users.
BPM has helped organisations model, automate and closely monitor their processes from the outset. It is gaining renewed importance in supporting digital transformation. This discipline and the BPMN modelling standard, adopted by the vast majority of industries, make it possible to respond effectively to these changes, particularly through:
- automating processes that were previously manual;
- optimising processes that still require paper-based interaction or users' physical presence;
- accelerating transformation through electronic signatures, among other tools.
Consequently, more businesses across all sectors use electronic signatures to optimise processes and benefit from their legal value and security.
